The covenant permits a fire protection zone to be created up to 40m around the home site, but we didn't want to remove all the trees in this zone. After much agonising, we identified trees that could fall onto our new house or shed and arranged for a local wood cutter to remove them. P |
We had advertised our shed in the local paper. Unfortunately, the shed was not quite as advertised by Saturday morning. However, we sold it, but the buyer could not remove the posts because of the concrete foundations. The resulting 'folly' was noticed by several passers by. P |

We wanted to remove the vegetation before the excavator arrived and piled up soil with our shrubs mixed in. Scott, our local slashing contractor, cleared the site very quickly, but it took much longer for us to rake off the debris. Clearing up the "heads" of the trees is still work in progress. P |
